About
Having been a self-employed bookkeeper for many years I began studying for ACCA in December 2011. This was done via distance learning sitting exams every six months. After first time passes in every exam I was qualified by June 2014. I gained most of my pre and post qualifying experience outside of David Howard, becoming a full member of the ACCA in September 2014.
After joining David Howard in August 2015 as a manager, I quickly found my feet and have enjoyed great success in all aspects of the job. I was made partner from 1st July 2018 and I am looking forward to the many years ahead. Along with this promotion came a fantastic opportunity to open an office in Cranleigh Surrey, a place I have lived most of my life. I hope to build on the success of the last few years and I am looking forward to all the challenges of the future.
At David Howard I not only look after a large portfolio of clients but I also have other staff members to manage and develop as they study for their exams. I am actively involved in developing my current client base as well as expanding my portfolio with new clients and offering an excellent service. I am also always looking at new technologies to ease the burden of data processing for many of my clients new and old. I enjoy the technical side of reporting and have been actively involved in the implementation of the new reporting standards FRS102 and FRS105 across the practice.
Outside work I enjoy spending time with my wife of ten years and my two children aged five and six, either at home or taking long walks on the North Downs. I am an avid swimmer and enjoy watching Formula 1 as well.
